Serious Factory and AHS Co. Ltd strategic partners

Serious Factory joins forces with AHS to provide Japanese companies with the opportunity to increase their sales thanks to 3D Marketing Software

Suresnes, France, 10 May 2012 - Serious Factory, one of the major editors of 3D technology digital applications for marketing and sales, has signed a VAR (Value Added Reseller) partnership with AHS, which specialises in providing the Japanese market with marketing software. This strategic agreement relates to the marketing of all Serious Factory solutions on the Japanese market.

This partnership with AHS is part of Serious Factory’s indirect sales strategy and reflects the editor’s desire to increase its market shares abroad. Now it has a solid customer base in Europe, Serious Factory is positioning itself to take on the Japanese market.

Founded in 2005 and specialising in marketing for the Japanese market, AHS is the Japanese distributor for a number of international software companies.

Having seen already how attractive 3D software is to the Chinese market, it has become increasingly obvious to us that our international development must include Japan too. We have signed a strong partnership with AHS to provide large local companies with intuitive, efficient and cost-effective 3D marketing software,” comments William PERES, CEO of Serious Factory.

AHS has a long history of introducing great technologies from outside of Japan to the Japanese market. Serious Factory’s cutting-edge technologies and products perform fantastically and have a great deal of market potential. We are very confident that our strong partnership with Serious Factory will be hugely successful. I believe that 3D marketing will be standard worldwide in the very near future,” adds Tomohide Ogata, President and CEO of AHS.

Serious Factory and AHS have worked hard to develop this partnership, and it already looks to be a resounding success.

3D Space Configurator : a marketing software to boost your ROI

Already used by big names of French and Chinese industry, 3D Space Configurator allows you to simulate and optimize, in an interactive and non-technical way, architectural spaces of any shape or size, customized according to codes of the brand or manufacturer. Genuine tool for supporting sales, it gives companies a simple and powerful solution for presenting their products. 3D Space Configurator allows, in few clicks, to illustrate in real time 3D the best possible implementation in a given space and speed up decision making.

Why is it a ROI booster?

This release 1.2 contributes to a most relevant qualified customer needs  by the acceleration of the configuration step and data transmission to production. This software is also an accelerator of sales cycle because it is gradually reducing the gap between sales force and production teams.
What are the news features?
  • Read-only export of the set stage

While keeping the content, this feature allows you to export the configuration created and spread an executable file that can not be changed, in which the user can navigate in real time and manipulate objects or their kinematics. The project review is then facilitated, misinterpretation eliminated and the duration of requirements specification greatly reduced.

  • Integrated items configurator

For products with multiple configuration options, Serious Factory has developed a module that can enrich with a simple drag / paste the catalog of 3D Space Configurator. All versions of the product are then visualized and can be positioned in the 3D scene under design. The items configurator can also define animations of operation according to specified business rules and manage constraints and collisions in order to make ultra-realistic setting.

  • Automatic generation of the bill of materials
Once the space is completed and optimized, a simple click on the export button allows to automatically generate the bill of materials , thus facilitating the quantification of a business perspective, and for the production a complete risk-free transmission .
  • AutoCad® map importation

To accelerate the architectural design and to ensure the reuse of existing 2D drawings, Serious Factory has developed an maps import tool made under AutoCad (. DWG file). Once the plan is integrated in 3D Space Configurator, it becomes possible to rely on the tracks features, which ensures compliance with proportions and dimensions.

  • 3D objects importation

In the will to make its software suitable for industry standards, Serious Factory has developed a plugin that can import 3D objects and integrate them directly into the proper format for 3D Space Configurator.
